Seriously, it's been weeks and I've posted nothing new. OK, let me get you all caught up.
Things are going great with Baby Girl. I had a check-up last Monday which was completely anti-climactic as usual. I learned that when I go back on July 7th, they'll be testing me for gestational diabetes which involves drinking some really sugary stuff and having blood drawn. Fun fun! Baby Girl seems to enjoys tap dancing which is fine with me. You know I'm hoping this one ends up on stage. Really, is it to early to be a Stage Mom? KIDDING!!!! I've seen way too many stage moms and then Bravo did that whole show on them..UGGGHHHH! Not for me.
I'm feeling OK these days. My back aches all the time and I just feel like my skin to innards ratio is a little low. Apparently I'm not moisturizing as much as I need to. My feet are pretty swollen and it looks like it's going to be flip flops from here on out. I really need to treat myself to a pedicure because I can't really reach my toes anymore, but that's just not in the budget. We're saving every penny for diapers and what not.
I guess the big news is that I've been looking at making a career change. Dealing with child abuse day in and day out is a little intense for a new mom-to-be. I miss teaching sooooo much, but don't know if I can afford to go back to it. I don't know what I'll end up doing, but I've had some fun interviews. We'll just see what happens.
Brad's had some job developments too. As of Monday he will be running a route in Columbia instead of going to Jefferson City everyday. It's a step up for him as he'll have the opportunity to make more money and he'll be in town. I'm really proud of him!
I can't believe I forgot to mention our biggest news: WE NOW HAVE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!!!!! You no longer have to be afraid to visit our house in the summer. Brother Nate and might as well be sister-in-law Krista will actually be comfortable when they come to visit in August. Mom and Dad are coming too, but I'm sure they'll stay with Nanny. Everyone is making the trip because Aunt Caryl is throwing me a baby shower!!! And I'm super excited because it's a game free baby shower! I just can't get into shower games, but I'm so excited to see everyone and talk about pregnant stuff and eat!
It's starting to storm outside, so think I'd better wrap this up before the lightning jumps through the computer and zaps me. I hear that's frowned upon during pregnancy.
Love to all!
